What Have We Here ?

Composed of timeless, hardwood oak and fine brass hardware, this piece transports us to the 1920s when it was produced and began its utilitarian journey. A unique marriage between a filing cabinet and printing cabinet, it’s clear this was a trusted work of furniture with much functionality that still serves to this day. We love imagining the important documents and novel supplies of different decades that it used to store. This 1900s oak multi-drawer cabinet was originally used in a lawyer’s office in Clifton Park, NY in the 1920s. Upon its second phase of life, this cabinet was used in a local electorate’s office. We can only imagine the conversations this piece must have heard behind the scenes!
