What Have We Here ?

A tribe known as the Glaoua have lived for generations in the southern reaches of Morocco, among the towering peaks of the Atlas Mountains. This rug is a product of their unique weaving style which combines embroidery, knotting, and flat weaving to create remarkably colored, patterned, and textured rugs. By combining different weaving techniques, the makers of this rug pay homage to their creative ancestors and offer us an incomparable design to appreciate.

How to Use It ?

This woven work is a worthy foundation for any arrangement of furniture in your space. Place it beneath your bed to welcome and warm your feet in the morning, or in the living room as that initial and necessary layer of both comfort and character.

Why It Matters ?

Traditional techniques produce spiritually rich works, like this rug, at a much slower pace than modern methods. By caring for this piece, we respect its creation and resist the demand for cheap replacements or reproductions.
