What Have We Here ?
Although they have no country of their own, the Kurdish people have a unique culture that they proudly express. The city of Senneh, now known as Sanandai (and based in Iran), is the creative heart of Kurdish culture. Its residents have worn colorful, traditional costumes and made fine carpets for centuries. This handwoven marvel is a fine example of the precisely patterned and colored textiles that Senneh’s weavers are famous for.
How to Use It ?
We recommend unrolling this resplendent rug in your bedroom, living room, or office. Add a refined addition of color by placing this piece underneath an established arrangement, or make it the foundation of a freshly designed interior.
Why It Matters ?
Senneh kilim rugs are handwoven in a tight, flat pattern that makes them extremely durable. Thanks are due to the wise weavers who chose a simple, timeless design to appear on this rug for us to preserve and, most importantly, enjoy for years to follow.
