What Have We Here ?

Made for a French bistro in the 1930s, this chair survived World War II and found a new life in Connecticut before making its way to ZZ. Its tubular steel frame is reminiscent of Bauhaus sensibility and the slatted seat reminds us of the classic folding bistro chair. Age and authenticity are expressed clearly by the delicate wear present on this piece.

How to Use It ?

These chairs may certainly be used in any interior dining arrangement, or set a pair outside beside a simple metal table to serve as true homage to the subtle decadence of French cafe society. All we ask is keep them covered from rain so that many more individuals may continue to enjoy their presence and utility for years to come!

Why It Matters ?

Just like La Tour Eiffel, this chair only needs the occasional touch-up in order to maintain its charm and character. A simple style, resilient materials, and a great design formulaically make a statement that lasts.
